I attempted to take my own life, but God gave me strength to live. I put a gun to my head and pulled the trigger. My father ran in the room and startled me just enough to cause me to turn my head and the bullet went through the wall.My father asked me for forgiveness in that exact moment. I was scared because I almost did something so horrible in ending my life. I forgave him, and we re-built a better father & son relationship. The trauma was generational and my father suffered more than me, but the generational curse ended when it ran into me and I turned to God.Present day I am divorced, a retired Police officer and former Marine. I gave my life to God. I wanted to be a better man, and a better father to my two sons. I went to battle against my depression with God by my side. I defeated depression, I became a better man, and a better father.I started GodWilled Ministry as a way to share videos of the word of God, being vulnerable to attract others who may be facing difficult times. Many Men & Women have reached out and I know many more will also for support and healing through faith in getting closer to God and to God be the Glory for using me as his vessel.A way for them to see that with God they can and will heal. With God they will “RISE” through adversity “OVERCOME” life’s challenges and “FAITH” in God for a better life and future.God Willed it for you & me to live! So Don’t give up, because you are someone’s answered prayer.I use my story as a testimony to help Men and Women understand that they are enough, and Suicide is not the answer. “I never want anyone to feel the way I did that night.”Together alongside God you will defeat the devil and his schemes, Break the generational curse and free your family.God wants more for us,
